Joanne A. Markoff, 82 of Marianna, PA passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home Waynesburg, PA.

She was born July 6, 1937 a daughter of the late Lloyd and Mazie Baker.

She worked at Murphy's 5 and 10 when she graduated, then Greenway Shirt Factory and retired from JC Penney in 2000.

Her greatest enjoyment was Bingo, cooking and baking. She could not wait for Mondays so she could bake a cake for the Marianna VFD.

She is survived by a daughter Tina Sawicky of Marianna, PA , a son Sam (Dawn) Markoff of Clarksville, PA; five grandchildren, Jered (Aaliyah) Sawicky of Great Falls, MT, Amber (Tim) Pierce of Marianna, PA, Samuel (Hayley) Markoff of Elizabeth, PA, Shayne and Chase Markoff of Clarksville, PA; three great grandchildren, Bryanna and Colton Pierce of Marianna, PA and Lucas Markoff of Clarksville, PA; several nieces and nephews and two men that she adored, Jeff (Linda) Watson of Scenery Hill, PA and Robert (Marilyn) Watson of Acme, PA. She was the last of her immediate family.

Deceased in addition to her parents is the love of her life Harley "Red" Watson; three brothers, Milford Stauffer, Lloyd Baker and Fred Baker; son in law Jerry Sawicky; three nephews, Ronald Stauffer, Robin Baker and Jack Baker; another man she adored Bruce Watson, having their coffee and cookies weekly that he wasn't allowed; her beloved grandson Tyler Markoff.

Funeral Service are private and under the direction of the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. A celebration of Life will be held on July 18, 2020 at 3:00 PM at 9 Rosewood Ave. Marianna, PA CO-VID permitting.
