Joanna Hixenbaugh, 57 of Cokeburg, PA passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 in her home.

She was born September 9, 1966 a daughter of the late Thomas and Nora Nuccetelli Nye.

Joanna was a 1984 graduate of Mon valley Catholic High School.

She had been employed at Washington-Greene ARS as a group home supervisor in Ellsworth, PA for many years.

She was a member of the Independent Club and the American Legion, both in Bentleyville.

Gardening, flowers, cooking and Bingo were some of the things she enjoyed. She especially loved family, grandchildren and her wonderful circle of friends.

Surviving are two daughters, Amy Dimaggio of Cranberry Twp. PA and Allison Hixenbaugh of Cokeburg, PA; three grandchildren, Rilyn, Kaynan and Liam; a sister in law Christine Shepard of Monessen, PA.

Deceased is a brother Jim Nye.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home.
