Joan C. Holbert

Joan C. Holbert, 82 of Eighty Four, PA passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

She was  born June 13, 1941 in Monongahela, PA a daughter of the late Gordon and Clara Fine.

Joan was a 1959 graduate of Monongahela High School.

A Homemaker, Mrs. Holbert enjoyed crafts, crocheting, watching soaps, gardening, listening to Elvis, and in her younger years camping and fishing. Joan was also an avid Pittsburgh Penguin, and Steeler fan.

She was a member of the Bentleyville Eagles Club and Pulaski Club in Washington.

Surviving are two children; Jim Holbert (Tanya) of Eighty Four, PA, Teresa Kusch (Bill) of Washington PA; three brothers Louis Fine (Linda) of Forward Twp., Lawrence Fine (Ruth) also of Forward Twp., and Roger Fine (Rose) of Donora, PA; sister in law Mary Lou Fine; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; Joan also leaves behind her dog Buddy.

Preceding her in death is her husband James L. Holbert who passed away April 8, 2018, and brother Gordon Fine Jr.

Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA where funeral services will be held Tuesday November 28 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
