Jeffrey M. Gilbert, 71, of Richeyvillle, PA (Centerville Borough) passed away on Sunday February 23, 2025 in the Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.

Mr. Gilbert was born on April 26, 1953, the son of the late James P. Sr. and Nancy E. Leeper Gilbert.   He attended the Brownsville High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1972 to 1975 and was honorably discharged earning the National Defense Service Medal.

Jeff was known for being a hard worker.  He was employed as a Mill Wright and Machine Operator at Arcelor-Mittal in Monessen and retired in 2018 after 17 years of service.  He was also a cabinet maker for San Del Kitchens for 15 years.

On August 25, 1974 he married his wife Robin Null Gilbert who survives.

In addition to his wife, he leaves behind three sons Tim and John Gilbert, both of Richeyville, PA and Jeff Gilbert of Pottstown, PA; as well as 8 grandchildren.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents are his brother James P. Gilbert Jr.

All Funeral Arrangements are private and under the direction of the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. 2830 main St. Beallsville, PA.   Interment will be held at a later date in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
