Janice Beth Weirich, 70, of Daisytown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at 12:40 PM on October 8, 2024 after a 4-year battle with Metastatic Lung Cancer. Up until the end, Jan maintained her love of family and friends, kindness, compassion, empathy, and expressed gratitude to God for her long, blessed life.

Born Janice Beth Lilak, the daughter of John Lilak Jr. and Ardele Grace Lilak (Black) on June 10th, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio. Janice was the beloved sister of Carin (Bill) Lytle, and Mark Lilak of Ohio. Janice married the love of her life Glenn "Mike" Weirich on May 2nd 2009. She was a devoted mother to Damon Lilak, Corrine Caraffi, and Sandy (Tom) Harvey, Stepmother to Shawn Renee Weirich and Bruce Conklin, loving Grandmother to Shalynn Dean, Austin Dean, Tyler Lilak, Alyssa Lilak, Olivia Lilak, Liam Harvey, Lorelai Harvey, Rebecca Conklin, Bruce Michael Conklin, David and Glenn Weirich, and proud Great Grandmother to Alias Hoffer.

Janice's life can be encapsulated by four "F" words: Faith, Family, Friends, and Fun. In her 70 years here with us she experienced an abundance of each all filled with love and joy.  Jan's friendships encompassed all aspects of her life, and each was special to her. From phone call chats, to celebrating in times of happiness and helping in times of need, to traveling adventures to Ohio, New York, Las Vegas, Tennessee, Baltimore, and more, Jan was up for it all… She was the mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend that was always there for you, thinking about you, and available to listen and talk. She was loyal, faithful, and she loved fully and fiercely.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents John and Ardele, and sister Carin. She is survived by her husband Mike, children Damon, Corrine, Sandy, Shawn, and Bruce Brother Mark, Brother-in-law Bill, grandchildren Tyler, Shalynn, Alyssa, Austin, Olivia, Liam, and Lorelai, Tia, Rebecca, Bruce Michael, David, and Glenn, and great grandchild Alias, nieces and nephews Rob (Lisa), Mark (Cindy), Barbie (Bill), Joe (Jenna), Steve (Bri), and Kelly, as well as many other family members and friends all of whom will never forget the love and light she brought to their lives.  She is loved and will be deeply missed.
