James E. Peters, 66 of Bentleyville, PA passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

He was born November 26, 1955 in Washington, PA a son of the late John and Marie Shaw Peters.

Jim was a 1975 graduate of Bentworth High School.

Mr. Peters was employed as a steel worker with Cleveland Cliffs Steel, Monessen Works for 44 years.

He was involved with the Ellsworth Fire Department, served as a Scout Master in the Boy Scouts and was a member of the Ellsworth Sportsman's Club where he enjoyed shooting trap. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and restoring cars.

Surviving are his former wife Charlene Peters and a son Wesley Peters, both of Bentleyville, PA; a nephew Jeremy Span (Tracey) and a great niece Cara Span, all of Fredericktown, PA.

Deceased in addition to his parents is a sister Joyce Span.

Friends will be received Friday, January 14, 2022 from 3 to 7 PM in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA.
