James R. Hull ,75, of Washington, PA passed away on Wednesday June 25, 2025, in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital after recent heart complications.

Jim, to those who knew him, was the son of the late Mark and Catherine Ullom Hull. He graduated from Trinity High School in 1967 and then went on to Penn State University to achieve his degree in Electrical Engineering. Following his education, he was enlisted in the United States Army serving as a Military Policeman until his honorable discharge.

On June 11, 1978, he married his wife Diana (Haught) Hull who survives. They had recently celebrated 47 years of marriage.

He previously worked as a maintenance engineer at FPD before transitioning to running his own business M-Tech for many years. He was a member of the Emmanuel United Presbyterian Church, and member of the Washington American Legion. He was extremely passionate about muscle cars, mowing grass, and keeping Reese's cups out of stock at the local gas station. He also enjoyed spending his retirement by having a beer at wing night with friends, helping his children with home construction projects, relaxing on his porch, and walking the paths of Mingo Park.

Jim will be lovingly missed by his wife Diana Hull; son Jon Mark Hull and daughter Beth Kosch (Shaun); four grandchildren Porter, Kale, Haddie, and Evie.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Becky and his brother.

Friends will be received on Sunday June 29, 2025, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA where Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. with pastor Fran Skariot officiating.  Military Honors will also be conducted at the Funeral Home Monday by the U.S. Army and the Washington American Legion post 175.  Interment will be private.    An online guestbook is available at www.GreenleeFuneralHome.com.
