Helen R. Wise, 91 of Daisytown died Wednesday February 23, 2022 in her home following a lengthy illness.

She was born August 18, 1930 in Centerville Boro a daughter of the late Stanley and Stella Tocilowska Kuczykowski.

Mrs. Wise had been a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, bingo, and spending time with her family. She also had been a lifelong member of the Garwood Baptist Church and had been a Sunday school teacher.

Surviving are three children, Roberta Stone (John Jr.) of Daisytown, Robert A. Wise, Jr. of Centerville, Valarie Axton (Eugene Sr.) of Daisytown, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Mrs. Wise was the last of her immediate family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Wise, Sr., five brothers, Mike, Chester and Edward Kuczykowski, Stanley Koskey and Tony Koskey who died in action during WW II, also deceased are three sisters, Jae Rakoski, Nora Dunseath Kancir, and Vee Williams.

Friends will be received from 3-7pm Friday in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main St. Beallsville where funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday February 26, 2022 with Pastor Larry Coltura officiating. Interment will be in Taylor Cemetery, West Pike Run Twp.
