George A. Ruscheck, 85 of Centerville, PA  passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.

He was born August 20, 1938 in Vestaburg, PA a son of the late Alec and Mary Roskos Ruscheck.

George was a 1957 graduate of Centerville High School.

He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1958 to 1961 in Fairbanks, AK.

Mr. Ruscheck was a member of the Centerville VFW.

He enjoyed trap shooting, hunting and vacations with his grandsons. George was also a huge Steelers Fan. He had not missed a game since 1978.

Surviving are his wife Kathy Kegel Ruscheck of Columbus, OH; a daughter Cyndee McCaskey of Columbus, OH; five grandchildren, Joseph and  Jamie Darney, Jessalynn, Alex, and Lucas McCaskey; three siblings, Mary Ann Moravitz, Richard Ruscheck, and Barbara Jean Craig.

Deceased are a daughter Virginia Ruscheck and a sister Janet Olsen.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd. Beallsville, PA. A graveside service will be held Monday, November 20, 2023 at 1:30 PM in the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church Cemetery, Centerville, PA with the Centerville American Legion presenting Military Honors.
