George Karpoff, 83 of Scenery Hill, PA passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025 in his home.

He was born August 7, 1942 in Fayette City, PA  a son of the late Michael and Ann Karpoff.

George was a 1960 graduate of Ellsworth High School and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Richmond.

Mr. Karpoff ended his 30 year career in the steel industry as a Melting Supervisor having been employed with U.S. Steel, Washington Steel and Allegheny Ludlum.

He was a longtime member of the 7th Day Adventist Church in North Belle Vernon, a member of the NRA and USWA.

On February 8, 1964 he married Dorothy Bosick Karpoff who survives. They celebrated 61 years of marriage.

George loved his family and was truly kind and generous to both friends and family. His hobbies included gardening, yard work and a sawmill which he operated at home.

Surviving are his beloved wife Dorothy Bosick Karpoff; a brother John Karpoff both of Scenery Hill, PA; son in law L. Scott Hustava; brother in law Nick Guyach; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a son Michael Karpoff; a daughter Michele Hustava; sister Betty Guyach.

Friends will be received Friday, July 18, 2025 from 3 to 7 PM in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA 15314. Entombment will be private.
