George R. Calvin, 76, of Scenery Hill, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the VA Hospital (H J Heinz) following a lengthy illness.

He was born March 23, 1945 in Charleroi, a son of George and Catherine Calvin.

Mr. Calvin worked for a few different employers before settling in at the Washington Post Office.  He worked there for more than 26 years, retiring in September 2012.

Surviving are a son, George Calvin (Sara) of Apex, NC; a daughter Lisa Sipusic of Kennedy Twp., PA; a grandson Luca Calvin; and granddaughter Alexandra Sipusic.

Deceased are his father, George Calvin, who died March 10, 2001; and mother, Catherine Calvin, who died July 21, 1996.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2022 in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, PA 15314 where Funeral Services will be held at 11a.m., Thursday March 24, 2022 with the Rev. Stephen Wahal officiating.  Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township.
