Frances E. George, 102 of Fredericktown, PA (Centerville Borough) passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2004 in  Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.

She was born December 23, 1921 in Vestaburg, PA a daughter of the late Joseph and Jenny Kiwall.

Frances was a 1939 graduate of Centerville High School.

She was employed as a customer service representative at the shirt factory in Waynesburg, PA.

Mrs. George was a life-long member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish Richeyville Campus.

Her hobbies included cooking, Bingo and going to the casino. As a Steeler season ticket hold for over 50 years, she attended 3 Super Bowls. She was also a fan of  the Pittsburgh Pirates and Penguins.

Surviving are  a son Richard George (Gayle) of Mechanicsburg, PA; two grandsons, Michael George (Christina) of Mechanicsburg, PA and Joshua George (Kristen Bankert) of Dillsburg, PA; four great grandchildren, Brandon, Liam, Trent,  and Cam; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her husband Boris M. George who died February 9, 1972; two brothers and two sisters.

Friends will be received Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 10 to 11 AM, the time of a Blessing Service, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd.,  2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA with Rev. Edward L. Yuhas officiating. Interment will follow in Fredericktown Cemetery.
