Obituary

Esther M. Cimino, 89 of Washington, PA passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at UPMC Washington Hospital E.R.

She was born July 6, 1936 in Scenery Hill, PA a daughter of the late Alfonso and Rose Ulanosky Bogochenko.

Mrs. Cimino was a 1954 graduate of Ellsworth High School and earned an Associate's degree from Penn Commercial.

She was employed as the Office Manager for Dillie Motor Freight in Washington, PA with 37 years of service.

Mrs. Cimino attended St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Canonsburg and was a member of Holy Trinity in Charleroi for most of her life where she served as Treasurer. She was also a member of the choir and helped with the making of piroghis and Holy bread.  She was a member of the Eastern Star,  Martha V. Paul, Chapter #404.   Esther was also a member of the Democratic Committee Women of Washington County and was crowned queen of the Washington Sesquicentennial Celebration.

Dining with friends, gardening, baking, and watching sports on TV were among her many hobbies.

On August 8, 1959 she married Leroy E. Cimino who died December 12, 2003.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.  Esther was the last of her immediate family.

Deceased are 12 siblings, Kathryn, Vera, Julia, Alex Sr., Michael, and William Bogochenko, Nellie Tarbuck, Elizabeth Greely, Helen Jochynek, Jennie Locy and Louise Puskavich.

Funeral Services are private and under the direction of the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd. 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Gardens McMurray, PA.
