Emil Husarchik Jr., 88 of Daisytown, Pa passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026 in Concordia Hospice Donnell House, Washington, PA.

He was born March 29, 1938 in Ontario, PA a son of the late Emil and Violet Verik Husarchik Sr.

After graduating from Ellsworth High School in 1956 he attended W & J College.

He was employed as a truck driver for most of his career.  For 14 years he drove OTR freight for Beatty Trucking in Washington, PA and did heavy hauling for A & L Construction in Belle Vernon, PA for 17 years. He also hauled Arabian show horses for Empress Arabian in Venetia, PA for over 20 years.

A devout Catholic, Emil was a lifelong member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish Richeyville Campus and a member of the Knight of Columbus Council #5826.

Emil enjoyed Polka dancing, gardening, deer hunting, traveling and caring for his yard and home. He especially enjoyed time with family and attending his kids' sporting events.

On June 4, 1960 he married Patricia Typovsky Husarchik who survives.

Also surviving are four children, Edward R. Husarchik (Debra) of Centerville, PA, Ronald W. Husarchik of Washington, PA, Alan E. Husarchik (Jamie) of Cincinnati, OH and Marilyn Polonoli (Keith) of Canonsburg, PA; three grandchildren, Ethan and Aaron Polonoli and Avery Husarchik.

Deceased are his brother Paul Husarchik and sister Violet Wasielwaski. Emil was the last of his immediate family.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA where a Blessing Service will be held Tuesday May 19, 2026 at 11 AM with Deacon Al Poroda officiating. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela, PA.
