Dorothy B. Lipscomb 93, of Ellsworth, Pa died Thursday November 14, 2019 in the Donnell House.
She was born March 29, 1926 in Chicago, Ill a daughter of Charles and Adeline Bishop.
Mrs. Lipscomb was a 1944 graduate of Ellsworth High School and had been employed for many years at the Washington Hospital as a LPN before her retirement in 1990.
She had been Baptist by faith, a member of the Bentleyville Senior Center, Eastern Star and also the Pride of the Valley Chapter #70 where she had been a worthy matron for 10 years. She enjoyed bingo, crochet, knitting, and traveling.
Surviving is one son, Leonard Lipscomb of Ellsworth.
Deceased in addition to her parents is her husband, George Lipscomb and a sister, Gertrude McCary.
Friends will be received from 2-8 pm Tuesday where funeral services will be held Wednesday November 20, 2019 at 12:00 pm in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main St. Bentleyville with Rev. Larry Coltura officiating. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery.
