Debra M "Mamaw" Kushner, 67 of Bentleyville, PA passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023 in her home following a lengthy illness.

She was  born December 16, 1955 in Charleroi, PA a daughter of the late John and Patricia Nowicki Parola.

Debra was a 1973 graduate of California Area  High School, and also attended Pittsburgh Beauty Academy.

Mrs. Kushner was  employed as a hair stylist for many years at Janet's Hair Salon in Ellsworth.

On July 3, 2003 Debra married her husband Roderick "Rod" Kushner who survives.

She was a member of the Cokeburg Presbyterian Church, Bentleyville Recreation Board, and the Independent Club in Bentleyville.

Debra enjoyed reading, camping, and doing crossword puzzles.  Most of all she cherished her grandchildren and great grandchild.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two children; Tonya Moore (Arthur Jr.) of Clarksville, PA, and Heath Pasqualucci (Denise) of Bentleyville, PA; one brother Gary Parola (Michelle); step daughter Katie Maynard of Warren, PA. eight grandchildren, one great grandchild.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents is a brother Donnie Parola.

Friends will be received Monday November 27, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA.  Funeral Services and interment will be private.
