David G. Kriebel

David Grant Kriebel, 58, of Centerville, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 4, 2026.

David’s favorite days were spent hunting, grilling, and sitting around a fire with his people. His dog, Piper, was never far behind. Those who loved him will remember his unwavering commitment to his family, wild spirit, and never being too far from the farm. He was the hardest working man and a devoted employee of Hickory Telephone Company for 29 years.

David is survived by his wife of 33 years, and childhood sweetheart, Dina Kriebel. His three children, Alicia Castagna (Aaron), Haley Brightbill (Cody) and David Grant Kriebel Jr. His grandchildren; Sloan and Bowen Brightbill, Francesca Castagna were the light of his life.

Forever cherished by his parents Grant and Jerry Kriebel; sisters Lisa Kriebel and Jana Poetzl (Dean); lifelong best friend who was more like a brother, Robbie Stopko. Father and Mother In-Law Attilio Paci Sr and Ann Marie Paci; Sister In-Law Christy Giuliano and Brother In-Law Attilio Paci Jr (Brittny). He als0 leaves behind 12 nieces and nephews; Amanda, Grant, Sarah, Nicole, Zac, Nate, Brock, Emma, Joe, Claire, Isabelle and Ella. 5 great-nieces and nephews; William, David, Briggs, Elita, Elliott.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life in honor of David on Sunday November 8, 2026 at First Presbyterian Church in California, PA at NOON followed by a reception at Paci’s Lounge from 1-4 PM.
