Christy Nicole Bruce, 33 of California, PA (formerly of Fredericktown) passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 surrounded by her family.

She was born December 21, 1987 in Washington, PA a daughter of Del and Loretta Kay Deems Wortman of Millsboro, PA who survive.

Christy was a 2005 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School.

She was employed as a CNA at Advanced Personal Care Home in Clarksville.

Christy enjoyed spending time with her family and loved animals.

Surviving in addition to her parents are five children, Veronica Wortman of Millsboro, PA, Jacob and Elija Bruce of Ravenna, OH and Jazmine and Issac Grow of California, PA; special friend Brandon Grow of California, PA; one sister, Summer Wortman of Millsboro, PA; one niece, Marlania King.

Deceased are her paternal grandparents, Warren and Hannah Wortman and maternal grandparents, Russell and Kathleen Deems.

Funeral Arrangements are private and under the direction of the Greenlee's Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd., 42 Bank St. Fredericktown, PA.
