Charles Deems Jr., 83 of Bentleyville, PA passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 in Select Specialty Hospital McKeesport.

He was born November 11, 1939 in Sandy Creek, PA, a son of the late George and Edna Grimm Deems.

Mr. Deems was employed for many years at Chemply in Bunola, PA and was later employed as a security guard at the Washington Business Bureau.

He was Baptist by faith and was also a member of the Independent Club in Bentleyville.

Charles enjoyed motorcycling, NASCAR, hunting, and fishing. On June 23, 1961 he married Mary Anne Seman Deems who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Randy Deems of Bentleyville, PA, and Kevin Deems of Finleyville, PA; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Patty Deems of TX, and Luella Sharp of Bentleyville, PA; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to her parents are a son Charles Deems; a granddaughter Ashley Deems; and a brother Richard Deems.

Friends will be received Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 2 to 7 PM in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA 15314. Interment will be private.
