Catherine R. (Harvey) Rosemeier, 97, of Cokeburg, PA passed away on Saturday May 30, 2026, in the Mon Valley Care Center.

She was born in McDonald, PA on April 20, 1929, a daughter of the late Peter and Freda Underwood Harvey.  Catherine graduated from the Fort Cherry High School and was later a full-time homemaker for her family.

In later years she held housekeeping positions at the Century Inn and Presbyterian Medical Center.  Mrs. Rosemeier was a long-time member of the former Ave Maria Parish (now St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Bentleyville).  Her family was extremely important to her, she also enjoyed tending to her flowers, crocheting, sewing and quilting.  Over the years she had many faithful canine companions.

Surviving are four children Wayne Rosemeier (Nancy), Daniel Rosemeier, Debra Bostich (Larry), and Charlene Kerestan (Jeffrey); 12 grandchildren Rodney Willis Jr. (Christine), Kasey Hopkins (Nathan), Cara Franks (Bill), Erin Crile (Adam), Danelle Rosemeier, Jason Rosemeier (Traci), Justine Kerestan, Michael Kerestan (Madison), Michael and Bryan Belski, Kriste Sutch (Dave), and Brandon Bostich; 13 great grandchildren; 1 new great great granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews.  Catherine was the last of her immediate family.

On October 22, 2012, her husband Walter Rosemeier passed away; preceding her in death in addition to Walter are siblings Charles Harvey and Geraldine Cooper; daughter in law Geri Rosemeier.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Amedisys Hospice for all of the care Catherine received.  Especially nurse Abby and Bea.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday June 3, 2026, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA.  Prayers will be recited in the Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Bentleyville Campus with Fr. Edward Yuhas as celebrant.  Interment will follow in the Scenery Hill Cemetery.  An online guestbook is available.
