Carol Jean Patterson, 68, of Vestaburg, PA passed away on Sunday March 16, 2025 in the Concordia Hospice of Washington Donnell House after lengthy illness.

Carol was born on August 16, 1956 in East Liverpool, OH a daughter of the late Kenneth "Red" and Ruth Clair Grable.   She attended the Beth Center High School and graduated in 1974.   She also received an associate's degree in business from the California University of Pennsylvania.

Carol was later employed as a Receptionist at the Centerville Clinics and retired after 17 years of service.

She was always well known for her cleanliness, never leaving a messy house, and hosting great parties for her family and friends.  She also enjoyed bowling and playing softball in her younger years.   She was a member of the Fredericktown American Legion Post 391 Women's Auxiliary Group.

On January 26, 1974 she married her husband Timothy L. Patterson Sr. who survives.  They celebrated 51 years of marriage.

In addition to her husband, she leaves behind her son Tim Patterson Jr. (Mindy) of Canonsburg, PA; 4 grandchildren Colby and his girlfriend (Haleigh), Gavin, AJ, and Kelsey Patterson; 1 great grandson Grayson Patterson; one brother James "Kenny" Grable (Amy) of Fredericktown, PA; Godson Kendall Grable (Basilica) and their son Daxton; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death is her daughter Kelly R. Patterson who passed in 2014; two sisters Linda Grable, and Peggy Seckman.

Friends will be received Thursday March 20, 2025 from 1:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the Greenlee's Fredericktown Funeral Home Ltd. 42 Bank Street at Crawford Rd, Fredericktown, PA where a brief Funeral Service will be held at 5:30 with Deacon Al Poroda officiating.    Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donating to a charity of one's choice in Carols name.  An online guestbook is available at www.GreenleeFuneralHome.com
