Carol Amos, 68, of Ellsworth went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 3, 2024. She was born May 6, 1955 in New Eagle, daughter of the late Louis and Flora (Kitty) Amos. As well as being devoted to her family, she was a lifelong member of the Bentleyville United Methodist Church and a member of the United Women in Faith, and a 1973 graduate of Bentworth High School.
Surviving are two sons, Shane Wilson of Russell Springs Kentucky, and Gideon Wilson of Ellsworth, Grandsons Jaden Wilson, Kian Wilson and Liam Wilson, Granddaughter Harvest Moon, Brother Lou Amos (Jeannette), Sisters Connie Harris, Cathy Meredith (Ed), Cyndi Colley (Paul), Aunt Janet Shriner, Uncle Joe Lucy along with many cousins, nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
Deceased in addition to her parents are a sister Bonnie Lynn Amos, her twin son Gabriel Wilson, son Jadie Wilson, a brother Lorne (Mark) Amos, cousin Daniel Hess and two Brother in laws, Earl Harris and Greg Gehringer.
Carol lived a vibrant life, was very kind hearted, and loved her Lord and Savior, family and friends unconditionally. She was a hard worker, dedicating herself to many jobs to raise her boys. Carol put everyone first before ever thinking of herself. She never met a stranger that she didn't take under her wing.
Funeral services are private. A 'Celebration of Life' service will be held at a later date to be announced. Arrangements are entrusted to Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA.
