Brian Keith Selvoski, 57, of Bentleyville, PA died Wednesday, September 2, 2026 due to injuries sustained from a boating accident.
He was born April 5, 1969 in Washington, PA to Al and Berniece Selvoski of Bentleyville, who survive him.
Brian was a proud 1987 graduate of Bentworth High School. He was employed by Shallenberger Construction, Inc in Connellsville for many years before following his entrepreneurial spirit and becoming the Owner/Operator of Core Drilling, LLC of Bentleyville, where he proudly worked for the last 10 years.
Brian was an avid outdoorsman who found great enjoyment in the outdoors and the many activities he loved. He enjoyed hunting Elk in Idaho, fishing, trapping and raising beef cattle. He took great pride in his work and was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Brian also cherished the many friendships he made throughout his life and was fortunate to have a very large network of friends who held a special place in his heart. He was also a valued member of the Ellsworth Sportman’s Club.
In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his sisters, Debbie Blackburn (Dave) of Scenery Hill, and Brenda Selvoski of Bentleyville; nephew Chris Blackburn (Rachel) of Scenery Hill; niece Kaylee Selvoski (Shayne) of Bentleyville; and great- nieces and great-nephews Braxtyn, Bailey, Kendall, Lucas and Callum.
Brian will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his dedication to his work, and the many friendships he built throughout his life. He leaves behind a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing him and will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who loved him.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM in the Greenlee’s Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main St., Bentleyville, PA.
