Bonnie Jean Molk, 72, of Brownsville, PA (Centerville boro) passed away unexpectedly in her home on October 23, 2025.

She was born in the Waynesburg Hospital on December 11, 1952, the first child born to Alfred J. Sr and Mary Seminock Molk.   Bonnie graduated from Bethlehem High School and was a member of the National Honor Society in 1970.  She then graduated from the California State College in 1973 with a B.S. in Secondary Education with a major in Spanish.   Bonnie also took summer classes at the University of Valencia, Spain.

Ms. Molk was employed as a devoted Spanish teacher at the Laurel Highlands High School and retired after 30 plus years of service.

Her family and friends were particularly important to her, never forgetting a birthday or special occasion.  Bonnie will always be remembered for being a kind, generous person, always ready to help.    Catholic by faith, she was a faithful member of the St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Richeyville campus for many years.

Surviving are three siblings Marilee Molk, of VA, Dennis Molk (Wendy), of MN and Fred Molk (Karen) of Canonsburg; two nieces Jennifer and Jessica, and one nephew Zachary who was also Bonnie's godson.

Friends will be received on Tuesday October 28, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. 2830 Main Street Beallsville, PA.   Prayers will be recited in the Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday followed by a mass of Christian burial beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Richeyville Campus with the Rev.
