Betty J. Vlanich, 76 of Charleroi, PA (Long Branch) passed away, Saturday, March 15, 2025 in Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born August 14, 1948 in Long Branch, PA a daughter of the late Charles and Mildred Pierce Core.

She attended the California Area High School.

Betty was a homemaker and seamstress. She enjoyed arts and crafts, home remodeling projects and leatherworking. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life.

On June 7, 1969 she married Ronald F. Vlanich who survives. They celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Surviving are two daughters, Jean Lorick and Kathy Heide (Jim) both of Belle Vernon, PA; three grandchildren, William, Sarah (Keith Martin) and Elizabeth Heide; five great grandchildren, Charlotte, Ruthann, Annabella, Eli, and Caleb; three sisters, Sharon Park, Barbara Orchand, and Susan Weglarz (Tom) both of Detroit, MI.
