Betty "Bunny" Pordash 85, of Cokeburg, PA passed away on Tuesday July 18, 2023 in Peters Township Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Pordash was born in Cokeburg, PA on October 8, 1937, a daughter of the late Andrew and Susan Matosky Merichko.

Catholic by faith, Betty was a member of the St. Katharine Drexel Parish.  She also enjoyed playing bingo, plastic canvas stitching and making sure to always attend her sons' sporting events.

She had held positions in bookkeeping, and sales at Black Box Corporation, as well as United Cerebral Palsy of Pittsburgh.

Surviving are two sons Andrew "Andy" Pordash of Scenery Hill, PA, and David Pordash of Cokeburg, PA; four grandchildren Joey Pordash of Monroeville, PA, Justin Pordash of Bentleyville, PA, Brittany Pordash of Pittsburgh, PA, and David Pordash Jr. (Brittany) of College Station, TX.

Preceding her in death are two brothers Michael "Pikey" Merichko, and Andrew Merichko.

Friends will be received Sunday July 23, 2023 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville PA where a blessing service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m.  with Deacon John Kist officiating.  Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation be made to the Bentworth Football Boosters PO Box 118, Bentleyville, PA 15314.
