She was born on December 31, 1935 in Fayette County, a daughter of the late John and Bytha Johnson Parsons.
Bea was a 1953 graduate of Centerville High School and was later employed as a waitress at the Nemacolin County Club where she then became the banquet manager for numerous years. She dedicated her life and was a devoted employee of the Country Club for 45 years.

She was an avid Steelers fan as well as the Beth Center Kick Off Club. A highlight in Bea's life was attending the Super Bowl XXX between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys along with her "Steelerettes" Toots Pagac (her dearest friend who she considered her sister) Jessie Pagac, Mary Lynn Tarorick and Marge Malanosky.
