Barry D. Miller, 82 of Scenery Hill, PA passed away Saturday January 27, 2024 in his home after a brief illness.

Mr. Miller was born July 16, 1941 in Beallsville, PA a son of the late Wilbur W. and Eleanor Shriver Miller.

Barry was a 1959 graduate of Beth Center High School.

He was employed as a mould maker for Penn Mould Industry (now Ross Mould) for more than 30 years, where he retired.

Barry was well known as being a "handyman" and you could often find him "tinkering" in his garage where he enjoyed working on tractors and cars.  There wasn't anything that he could not fix.  He was also very involved with his five grandchildren who he loved dearly.

Mr. Miller was an active member of the Grace Methodist Church and sang in the choir.  He was also a member of the former Beallsville Presbyterian Church and the Richeyville Fire Department.

On July 21, 1962 he married Mary (Nyswaner) Miller who survives.  They would have celebrated 62 years of marriage this July.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children Keith Miller (Danita) of Beallsville and Jeff Miller (Kathleen) of Centerville Borough; five grandchildren Katelyn Eckels (Logan) of Hopwood, PA, Madelyn Miller (Cameron Koepp) of Taylor, MI, Joshua Miller (Katie) of Carmichaels, PA, Jenna Miller (Brennan Smith) of Hookstown, PA. and Kenneth Miller (Olivia Baublitz) of Brownsville, PA; two sisters Ann Luketich of Beallsville, PA, and Sandra Rush (John) of McDonald, OH.

Preceding him in death are four siblings Paul Miller, Bill Miller, his twin brother Larry "Lurch" Miller, and a sister Dorothy Lynn.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. 2830 Main Street Beallsville, PA.  Where funeral services will be held Thursday February 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.  with Pastor Ken Custer officiating.   Interment will follow privately in Beallsville Cemetery with the immediate family.
