Anthony "Tony" A. Paci of Charleroi, PA, 80, peacefully left us on December 24, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.  Tony was born on March 6, 1943, in Daisytown, the son of the late Angelina and Albert Paci.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Jean, brother-in-law, Sonny Johns, and son, Anthony Paci.

Tony is survived by the love of his life, Linda Mudry of Roscoe, PA, daughter, Kim Sabatini (Rick) and son Mark (Dana) Paci both of Brownsville, PA.  Tony is also survived by grandchildren, Catina (Matthew) Paci-Kohl, Angela (Scott) Mayhue, Matthew (Nicole) Sabatini, Angelica, and Emily Sabatini.  Zachary, Samuel (Madi), Jacob, and Sarah Paci.  He also has 2 3/4 great-grandchildren Jemma Gayle Mayhue, Gabriel Murray, and baby Sabatini, expected January 2024.  Tony has one niece, Denise (Pat) Rositani, a nephew, Micheal Johns, and many cousins.

Tony graduated from Bethlehem Center High School in 1961 and served 4 years as a jet engine mechanic in the United States Air Force.   Judging by pictures, he enjoyed lying shirtless on the beach and in the barracks. He raised his children in Richeyville, PA, and stated they were his greatest accomplishment.  While there, he served as a volunteer firefighter for Richeyville Volunteer Fire Company.  Tony was the Maintenance Supervisor at Interstate Paper Supply Company and retired from there in 2007.

He met Linda in October 2001 at the boat club.  They enjoyed drinking wine, eating at Little Bamboo, traveling to the beach, and riding bikes.  Tony's passion was to be on the golf course and he skillfully obtained his first hole-in-one in 1999 and won a GMC Jimmy, which he did not hesitate to tell everyone about.  In 1992, he was Men's Golf Champion at Nemacolin Woodlands with a chip in from the sand.  He recorded his second hole in one, in 2016, at Timber Ridge Golf Club.  If he wasn't on the golf course, he would be on the bike trail and sometimes biked up to 60 miles a day.  At the age of 70, he single-handedly conquered The Great Appalachian Passage Bike Trail from Washington D.C to Ohio Pyle by traveling 280+ miles by bike.  He loved playing poker and held many games with his poker buddies in his basement and enjoyed going to the casino where he played Texas Hold 'Em but was never able to hit it big.

He spent the last years of his life traveling and golfing with his BFF, Bob Githens, and some of the best guys in the world, all members of the Gabonay Golf Club. He did what he loved and lived life to the fullest.  Some of his last statements included, "It's been a great ride", "No regrets", "È quello che è", which translated means, it is what it is, and "This is bullshit".

Family and friends will be received in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 2 -7 pm and Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 10 – 11 am with services at 11 am officiated by Father John Harrold.
