Anthony J. (Tony) Seneca, Esquire, 75, of Moncks Corner, SC, formerly of Washington, PA, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 15, 2025.

Born in Washington Hospital, Washington, PA and raised in Cokeburg, PA, Tony was the oldest son of the late Mario A. and Elizabeth (Jean) Faiella Seneca.  He, also, was the devoted father of Mario Seneca, Esquire, (Colton) of Wexford, PA; and, the beloved brother of William Seneca (Gina) of McMurray, PA.

Tony was a member of the 1968 class of Bentworth High School, the 1972 class of Washington & Jefferson College where he served as fraternity president of Beta Theta Pi for 2 years, graduating with a degree in Psychology.  He furthered his education by attending The Duquesne University School of Law, graduating with Doctor Of Jurisprudence in 1975.

He had a long and distinguished legal career serving Washington County as a Plaintiff's Attorney from 1975-2017, when he retired and moved to South Carolina.  Tony was a member of the PA & Washington County Bar Association, where he served on the Local Rules Committee; and, a founding member & officer of the Western PA Academy of Trial Lawyers (later known as the PA Association For Justice).  He served as a Solicitor for Cokeburg Borough, Ellsworth Borough, Marianna/West Bethlehem Water Authority, and, Coroner, Tim Warco.  In addition, he was a Democratic political strategist throughout the county.

Tony was an avid reader and huge history buff.  He also accumulated an extensive collection of Doo Wop, Soul and early Motown music from the time he was a teenager.

In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by his partner, Laura Ann Golensky.

He is survived by a niece, Renata Seneca, Esquire; and, a nephew, Geno Seneca, both of Pittsburgh, PA.  Additionally,  there are several cousins and dear long term friends who revered him as one of the most trustworthy, kind and intelligent men they had the pleasure of knowing.

At Tony's request, there will be a private graveside service held at a future date.
