Ann Fidazzo "Granny" 90 of Cokeburg, PA passed away Sunday December 31, 2023 in Transitions Healthcare Washington, PA.

She was born  December 26, 1933 in Scenery Hill, PA  a daughter of the late George H. and Mary Donner Wherry.

Mrs. Fidazzo was a 1951 graduate of Ellsworth High School.

She was employed as a nurse's aide at Washington Hospital on floor 5S for many years.

Ann was a lifelong member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish and a member of the former Sons of Italy #609 Cokeburg.

Known to be an exemplary housekeeper, Ann also enjoyed baking, quilting, crocheting and cross stitching. Dozens of her works of art are still used lovingly today by family and friends. She was a very loving and much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

On July 7, 1951 she married James V. Fidazzo Sr. who died August 19, 2015.

Surviving are six children, Doris Flesher (Daniel) of Morgantown, WV, James Fidazzo Jr. (Cris) of Wellsburg, WV, David Fidazzo (Jane) of Coal Center, PA, Linda Ambrosy (Phil) of Bentleyville, PA, John Fidazzo of Washington, PA, and George Fidazzo (Joy) of Bentleyville, PA; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Ann was the last of her immediate family.

Deceased are a son Officer Frank Fidazzo, killed in the line of duty June 10, 2000; 4 sisters, Betty Kile, Georgia Ruth Kotchman, Barbara "Sis" Weir, and Helen Zgorliski.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA where prayers will be offered Friday, January 5, 2023 at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Katharine Drexel Parish Bentleyville Campus   with Rev. Michael Peck officiating. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela, PA.
