Alvin E. Danley Jr., 72 of Beallsville, PA passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at his home.

He was born April 11, 1950 in Washington, PA a son of the late Alvin and Ethel Hess Danley Sr.

Mr. Danley was a 1968 graduate of McGuffey High School.

He then went on to join the U.S Navy serving as a jet mechanic and later a recruiter serving eight years from 1969 until 1977.  Alvin was very proud to be a veteran.

After his service he held several jobs including a Machine Operator at a Strip Mine Operation, a Coal Miner, and most recently a Truck Driver.

Mr. Danley also enjoyed fishing, and camping. One of his favorite things to do was to watch Top Gun.

Surviving are three children Kimberly Watters of Washington, PA, Rebecca Walker (Henry) of Clarksville, PA, Susan DeBolt (Ray) of Carmichaels, PA; five siblings Debra Rugg of Washington, PA, David Danley (Joyce) of Claysville, PA, Marcie Klinzing of Washington, PA, William "Bill" Danley (Christina) of FL and Mark Danley of Clarksville, PA; Loving Companion of 14 years Noreen Detrick, Three Step-Children Bill Detrick (Erica) of Washington, PA, Jason Detrick (Heather) of Clarksville, PA Courtney Sparks (Reggie) of McKinney, TX; eighteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a brother in law John Rugg who died in May of 2022.
