Allen Wayne Bruce, 74 of Millsboro, PA passed away unexpectedly Tuesday October 17, 2023 in his home.

He was born May 9, 1949 in Waynesburg, PA a son of the late Fred and Angela Lovetri Bruce.

Allen was a 1967 graduate of Beth Center High School.

On August, 16 1969 he married his wife Mary Lou Hayges Bruce who survives.

He was employed by U.S Steel Clairton Works as a Millwright and an Expeditor and retired after more than 30 years of service.

Along with his more recent passion for golfing, he enjoyed making homemade wine with his family and friends.  In his younger years he was a hunter and fisherman.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three children Allen W. Bruce Jr. of Uniontown; Jason Bruce (Kim) of Washington, PA; and Kevin Bruce (Colby) of Fredericktown, PA.  six grandchildren Justin, Allena, Irelyn, Jenna, Raeghan, and Wesson Bruce and several great grandchildren.  two sisters Candy Allen, and Cheri Gross; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Greenlee's Fredericktown Funeral Home 42 Bank Street at Crawford Rd. Fredericktown, PA 15333 where funeral services will be held Saturday October 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Cathleen Molinari officiating.   Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park.
