Alberta J. Perkins, 92 of Bentleyville, PA passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 in Evergreen Assisted Living Washington, PA.

She was born July 16, 1930 in Freeport, PA a daughter of the late Albert L. and Margaret Hartman Martin.

Mrs. Perkins was a 1948 graduate of Claysville High School and also attended Penn Commercial in Washington.

She was a secretary in the office of Dr. Abernathy for over 30 years and was also employed as a laboratory secretary in the Washington hospital.

Alberta was a long time member of the Bentleyville United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed traveling, camping, sewing, crafts and spending time with her family.

Surviving are three children, Marty Perkins of North Charleroi, PA, Jane Matthews (John) of Eighty Four, PA and Bill Perkins (Leann) of Toronto, OH; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother Elden Martin of Amherst, OH; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her husband William "Harold" Perkins who died in 1997; a granddaughter Angel Jaye Matthews; a grandson Lance McCombs; a sister Laura B. Bruhn; two brothers Oliver Martin and Raymond "Bud" Martin.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA where Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 11 AM. Interment will be in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
