Frank Luketich

Frank Luketich, 79 of Beallsville, PA passed away unexpectedly Thursday May19, 2011 in the Washington Hospital as a result of complications from heart surgery.
He was born March 16, 1932 in Ellsworth, PA a son of the late Michael and Mary Zalac Luketich.
Mr. Luketich was a 1951 graduate of Ellsworth High School.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. His foreign service included serving in Japan.
In 1994 Mr. Luketich retired from Wetterau (Fox Grocery) after 35 years of service.
He was a member of the former Beallsville Presbyterian Church and attended the Beallsville United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed gardening, camping, beach vacations, spending time with his family and telling stories to his grandchildren.
On June 26, 1954 in Winchester, VA he married Georgia Ann Miller Luketich who survives. They celebrated 56 years of marriage.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two children; son, Kevin Luketich (Pam) of Scenery Hill and one daughter, Kathy Hess (Scott) of Beallsville; seven grandchildren, Samuel, Michael, and Nathaniel Luketich, Luke, Hanna, Sarah and Levi Hess; one brother, George Luketich of Bentleyville and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Luketich served as Guardian to his nephew Harold Alexander of Washington, PA.
Deceased in addition to his parents are four brothers, Mike, Andy, Tommy, and Matthew Luketich; three sisters, Catherine Alexander, Ann Simsak, and Mary Luketich who died in infancy.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 9 P.M. in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, PA where services will be held Monday, May 23, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor James Markley officiating. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, PA. Military Rites will be accorded by the Hancock-McCune-Horne American Legion Post #705 of Centerville. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to the American Heart Association, PO Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693-5120.
